State Patrol Troopers Begin Accepting Colorado Digital ID™

DENVER — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) announced that troopers will begin accepting the Colorado Digital ID™ within the myColorado™ mobile app as proof of identity, age and address for traffic stops within the state. The contactless Digital ID, downloaded by more than 75,000 Coloradans, provides residents a secure, safe and convenient way to exchange information with troopers. Colorado is the first state in the nation to offer residents the option to electronically transmit digital identification, vehicle registration and proof of insurance to law enforcement.

Colorado Receives Rural Broadband Grant

DENVER — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a grant award of $6 million to Yampa Valley Electric Association today, expanding northwestern Colorado’s rural broadband access to an additional 264 homes, farms and businesses located in Routt, Moffat and Eagle counties.
