DENVER - Government Technology recently named its Top 25 Doers, Dreamers & Drivers for 2024. Heather Weir, Senior Director of Strategy, Performance & Administration for the Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT), was named an honoree alongside other leading innovators, collaborators and transformers working to ensure government serves all its residents.
“Heather has been a leader in the state’s multi-year move to accessible, equitable digital services,” says Chief Information Officer & Executive Director David Edinger. “Her dedication to building a strategy and a team that can handle such a large shift has state agencies and local governments positioned to deliver on an essential goal of making government services accessible to all Coloradans.”
As the leader of the Strategy, Performance & Administration Office, Heather oversees OIT's strategic planning, process improvement, and legislative efforts; the Technology Accessibility Program (TAP); and administrative support for the executive staff. Her passion for process improvement is helping state agencies comply with digital accessibility guidelines.
