DENVER - The Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sridevi (Sri) Ramaswamy as Chief Operations Officer. Ramaswamy joins the State of Colorado after more than 20 years in the private sector across the U.S., Singapore and India. She spent the last six years with Uber, serving first as the Head of Community Operations for UberEATS Business for the Asia Pacific region. Later she became the Global Head of Greenlight Experience and then Global Head of Service Experience at Uber Technologies, Inc. in the USA.
“Sri’s rich and diverse experience makes her the right choice at the right time to lead our teams into a new era,” explained David Edinger, Chief Information Officer & Executive Director. “I am thrilled she has chosen to bring her talents to the public sector.”
As OIT’s Chief Operations Officer, Ramaswamy’s primary focus will be on leading the development and execution of enterprise strategy and delivering maximum value to our agency customers in partnership with all OIT offices.
“I am excited to be part of the team that helps tech-enabled government services reach every Coloradan and look forward to collaborating with state agencies to ensure we deliver maximum value to them,” said Ramaswamy.
Calling Colorado home since 2019, Ramaswamy earned a master’s degree in computer applications from Madurai Kamaraj University in India, while working full-time as a software engineer, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Mumbai in India.
