Employee Spotlight: How Integrity Drives OIT’s Daily Operations

This month, we shine the spotlight on Corey Moody, Service Desk Analyst with OIT, and is being recognized for the OIT Core Value of Integrity.

While much of the work in OIT occurs behind closed doors, its effects are felt directly by the public. Corey’s job is to support the systems and services that Colorado citizens depend on. His role is critical in ensuring operations run efficiently, issues are addressed in a timely manner and the public receives reliable service. “Even when the work isn’t visible, it plays an important role in maintaining trust and access to essential resources,” said Corey.

Success often comes with strong mentorship and guiding philosophies. "The best advice I’ve received is to do the right thing even when no one is watching. That mindset has guided me throughout my career, reminding me that integrity, consistency and accountability are just as important as results."

Corey attributes his professional growth and achievements primarily to the people he's worked with. "The people I’ve worked with have had the greatest influence on my success. Learning from others, collaborating across teams and staying open to feedback have helped me grow both professionally and personally."

Corey expresses great pride in the organizational values that define OIT. "I’m proud of OIT’s commitment to service and collaboration. There’s a strong sense of purpose in the work, and people genuinely support one another to achieve the best outcomes for the organization and the public we serve."
