Mission
Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of state government, Coloradan service delivery and policymaking by providing guidance and recommendations on how the state should govern and manage data and data management systems.
What we do
Representing all State of Colorado agencies and government offices, we work collaboratively to promote the use of good data to serve Coloradans. We are working to align our respective agencies to create common understandings and efficiencies and then develop resources that can be taken by agencies and adopted for use, such as guides and policies. we also provide an annual report to the Joint Technology Committee and respond to legislative tasking.
By sharing best practices across agencies and working to support the Digital Government Strategic Plan, we are creating a collaborative culture around data that helps the state operate efficiently for the benefit of Coloradans.

HB21-1236 Mandated Deliverables
Representatives and data experts from state agencies contributed a great amount of time and energy into these documents. We recognize that these are living documents and updates will be required as legislation and policies change. Our immediate next steps will be further refining the documents to become more actionable for state agencies, ensuring alignment and cohesion within this collection of documents.
