A member of OIT’s Network Services operations, he ensures state buildings are connected and network access is seamless for employees. Lane’s work supports the daily operations of numerous agencies and end users, enabling state employees to do their jobs and help Coloradans.

Lane and his team add network drops or install access points at state buildings to alleviate connectivity issues and enhance the overall user experience that the state provides residents.

Lane is recognized for embodying the OIT Core Value of Integrity. His team knows him for his honesty, tactfulness and accuracy.

“Lane follows through and takes accountability for any activity. His ability to work with difficult customers and employees is phenomenal,” says Network Services Supervisor Carolyn Koehnen. “An employee with these characteristics is rare; if I were to have the luxury of choosing my dream team, Lane would be on my short list.”

Lane’s favorite part of his job is connecting with agency customers, which is clear by his commitment to customer satisfaction and willingness to go the extra mile. His honesty, integrity and excellent customer service at OIT in his support of multiple state agencies have not gone unnoticed.
