Anthony Neal-Graves Named Denver Business Journal C-Suite Awards Honoree

DENVER – Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) Chief Operations Officer and Colorado Broadband Office (CBO) Executive Director Anthony Neal-Graves was named one of the Denver Business Journal’s C-Suite Awards honorees. As noted by the DBJ, the C-suite is more crucial than ever, and this program recognizes vital and business-savvy professionals for their organizational accomplishments and community involvement. Honorees were nominated by their colleagues, bosses and friends in a competitive field.

State CIO Receives Inaugural Colorado CIO of the Year ORBIE Award

DENVER — At a virtual event today, Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) Chief Information Officer and Executive Director Dr. Theresa Szczurek was presented with ColoradoCIO’s first-ever 2020 Colorado CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Award in the public sector category. This award spotlights CIOs in seven key categories who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership. 

New features in myColorado Mobile App Support Stay-at-Home Order

DENVER — The State of Colorado announced new features in the myColorado mobile app to support Governor Polis’ order to stay at home. The myColorado updates offer residents convenient access to COVID-19 information, 17 additional Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) services, and State of Colorado job opportunities. Additionally, Coloradans can receive COVID-19 alerts and other important information in real time through myColorado push notifications.

Julia Richman appointed as OIT Chief Strategy Officer

DENVER — The Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Richman as Chief Strategy Officer. Richman joins the State of Colorado from the City of Boulder where she most recently served as Chief Innovation and Technology Officer, leading technology strategy, operations, and citywide innovation.

Alex Pettit appointed as new state Chief Technology Officer

DENVER — The Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Pettit, Ph.D., as the state’s new Chief Technology Officer. Pettit joins the State of Colorado from the State of Oregon, where he shaped the technology ecosystem serving as the Chief Information Officer and separately as the Chief Enterprise Architect for the Secretary of State.
