DENVER — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a grant award of $6 million to Yampa Valley Electric Association today, expanding northwestern Colorado’s rural broadband access to an additional 264 homes, farms and businesses located in Routt, Moffat and Eagle counties.

DENVER – Today, the National Association of Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) announced the 2020 finalists for their coveted State IT Recognition Awards and the State of Colorado received honors in four of the 10 categories.

DENVER – Winners for the 2020 StateScoop 50 Awards were announced today and the State of Colorado was honored in four categories, with Governor Jared Polis taking home the GoldenGov: State Executive of the Year award. Polis is well-known for his support of IT innovation, making it easier for Coloradans to do business with the state. 

DENVER – Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) Chief Operations Officer and Colorado Broadband Office (CBO) Executive Director Anthony Neal-Graves was named one of the Denver Business Journal’s C-Suite Awards honorees. As noted by the DBJ, the C-suite is more crucial than ever, and this program recognizes vital and business-savvy professionals for their organizational accomplishments and community involvement. Honorees were nominated by their colleagues, bosses and friends in a competitive field.

DENVER - Governor Jared Polis announced today that Colorado’s Chief Information Officer and executive director Dr. Theresa Szczurek will be departing from her post at the Governor’s Office of Information Technology on September 4, 2020. Szczurek was appointed by Polis in January 2019.
