DENVER, Sept. 12, 2024 — The National Association of Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) announced the finalists for their coveted 2024 State IT Recognition Awards. These prestigious annual awards honor innovative projects and excellence in using information technology in state government to address critical business problems, improve business processes and elevate customer experience. More than 120 nominations were submitted, and Colorado’s Supporting FAMLI(es) & Empowering Lives nomination was recognized as an award finalist in the Digital Services: Government to Citizen category.

DENVER, July 29, 2024 — Today, the Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) announced the appointment of Sarah Tuneberg as the new Colorado Digital Service (CDS) Director. CDS was created within OIT to assist in solving pressing technology needs for state agencies through a community-centered and outcomes-based approach that helps Coloradans thrive.

DENVER, April 30, 2024 — Winners of the 2024 StateScoop 50 Awards have been announced, and the Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) was honored in three categories. Brandy Reitter, Executive Director of the Colorado Broadband Office, won GoldenGov: State Executive of the Year for her leadership in expanding broadband accessibility statewide and Josh Coultas, IT Director, won State Leadership of the Year for his work in streamlining processes.

DENVER, April 22, 2024 — The Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sridevi (Sri) Ramaswamy as Chief Operations Officer. Ramaswamy joins the State of Colorado after more than 20 years in the private sector across the U.S., Singapore and India. She spent the last six years with Uber, serving first as the Head of Community Operations for UberEATS Business for the Asia Pacific region. Later she became the Global Head of Greenlight Experience and then Global Head of Service Experience at Uber Technologies, Inc. in the USA.

Aira is a visual interpreting service that provides live, on-demand access to visual information through human-to-human professional assistance.
