Colorado’s Energy Navigation Web Tool: Making Clean Energy More Accessible
In November 2024, the State of Colorado began developing a first-of-its-kind Energy Assistance and Equipment Incentive Screener Tool to take the guesswork out of navigating 500 different state and federal programs. This digital tool is designed to help Coloradans quickly identify the rebates, incentives, and bill assistance programs for which they may qualify by answering a few simple questions in 10 minutes or less.
Case Study: Google Gemini Pilot
The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) recognized GenAI’s potential to enhance efficiency and foster innovation in state government, and that Gemini Advanced (Gemini) was a natural tool to implement since the state runs on Google Workspace. But OIT needed a mechanism to effectively evaluate its use and support the tool’s implementation.
